Training
“When Birth Meets Death”
Have you ever felt uncomfortable caring for bereaved families?
Some days do you think your care for these families could be improved?
Would you like to feel more confident supporting families through pregnancy loss and perinatal death?
Is your current approach to bereavement care sustainable and considering your own needs in this space?
ISLA grief & loss has provided online and face to face training to maternity service providers and universities around Australia since October 2017. We have delivered over 60 education sessions to more than 1100 maternity staff and students; the feedback speaks for itself.
The tragedy of pregnancy loss sadly continues through this pandemic and families need access to high quality care. This care requires staff to feel supported and be skilled at working with bereaved parents.
98% of surveyed attendees found that our training increased their confidence to work with bereaved families.
